About

Our Mission Statement:

We are creating a learning environment that will help children develop their creative abilities, their critical thinking and team building skills while connecting to their love of learning. Each subject we teach will incorporate play into creative hands on projects and will be an opportunity to develop these skills while growing educationally in areas of interest. To do this, we will partner with innovative experts that believe all children can learn better when they are enjoying themselves! We strive to provide these opportunities to all children, both through affordable classes and by offering community service earned scholarships to less fortunate families.

Our Organization:

HuckleBerry Center for Creative Learning is a non-profit public benefit corporation led by the founder, Stephanie Berry. We chose a non-profit structure for our business primarily because our model is to channel our profits directly back into the center. The returns we provide are a community of children that are excited about learning, are able to pursue subjects that interest them and are developing critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills and becoming better team players. Our Board of Directors includes those with broad experience in business and a deep desire to bring excitement about learning into the educational environment for all children. Our staff includes experienced and innovative teachers that include the element of play as an integral part of the educational process and design learning experiences to help create lifelong learners. HuckleBerry has also established a Parent Advisory Council and a Student Advisory Council. These two forums allow the community of learners within HuckleBerry to help shape our future to meet the needs of our children.
